Brenda recently completed a graduate program in International Hotel & Resort Management, Destination Development and Tourism Leadership, at Royal Roads University.

Brenda has over 25 years of Senior Management experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, including strategic, operational, revenue, human resources, and sales and marketing management roles in destination hotels & resorts, urban corporate hotels, rural hotels, back-country lodges and mountain activities and adventures, including;

• Brewster’s Mountain Lodges & Adventures, Banff, Lake Louise, and Kananaskis
• Best Western Hotels, Canmore
• Grande Prairie Inn, Grande Prairie
• Stonebridge Hotels, Grande Prairie & Fort St. John
• Best Western Rocky Mountain House, Rocky Mountain House
• Canalta Hotels (36 hotels throughout Alberta & Saskatchewan).

In addition, Brenda managed the merger of Tourism Canmore-Kananaskis and Canmore Economic Development, creating the organizational framework and governance protocols for this new proactive Destination Management Organization.
