Lisa is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 30 years of operations management and consulting experience in the hospitality industry.

Lisa ‘s experience includes numerous senior finance and administrative roles in hotel operations, including:

• Calgary Centre Inn, Calgary
• Elbow River Inn, Calgary
• Glenmore Inn, Calgary
• Hawthorn Hotel & Suites, Calgary

Once moving onto the team at IHM, Lisa has extensive experience in reporting financial information and dealing with accounting policies and procedures, as well as Human Resources processes, for multiple jurisdictions within Canada and the U.S.A.

Achievements include writing HR Policies & Procedures for the legalization of cannabis and then for COVID, for both guests and staff, for properties in Ontario, Alberta (including within National Park boundaries), and British Columbia.

Prior to obtaining her CMA designation, Lisa received an Advanced Accounting Certificate from Mount Royal College in Alberta, and she also held the position of Financial Accountant for Big Rock Brewery of Calgary, Alberta.

Lisa specializes in financial analysis and management reporting, strategic planning, human resources and human relations.  In 2021 Lisa earned the Resilient Leadership Certificate through CPA Alberta.

Lisa is:

• a member of CPA, Alberta; and
• a member of CMA Alberta.
